The aim of this course is to provide leaders at the light infantry team/squad level and leaders of different branches from NATO and Partner Nations with in-depth knowledge and understanding of mountain warfare and of the specifics of mountainous terrain and climate when conducting operations in this environment.
The course will be held at military training facilities in Croatia as a Mobile Education and Training Team activity (METT), in cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia.

C. Prerequisite Courses: The course participants are requested to complete two e-Learning courses provided by NATO MW COE prior to attending the course:
- Basic Mountain Environment Characteristics;
- Combat Functions in Mountain Warfare.
