It is our pleasure to inform you that the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence will conduct the 4th Mountain Warfare Congress at the Ramada Resort Hotel, Borovška cesta 99, 4280 Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, taking place from 7 to 10 November 2022. The topic of the 4th MW Congress in 2022 is “Physical and Psychological Performance of Mountain Warfare Soldiers, Followers and Leaders“.
The congress will focus on the fundamental premise that soldiers are the centre of warfighting in mountainous environment. It should also stimulate decision makers to take advantage of science and application of physical and mental fitness as well as injury prevention research inside their area of responsibility. In addition to this, useful industrial developments will be shown.
The target audience is primarly composed of leaders in the area of Mountain Warfare at the level of senior NCO up to brigade commander. In general, the congress addresses the community of interest in Mountain Warfare.
The participants are kindly asked to arrange and book their own accommodation. Recommended options are Ramada Resort Hotel, where the congress will take place, or the nearby Kompas Hotel, both located in the beautiful surrounding of Kranjska Gora.
