Aim: Enhance the understanding of the significance of Force Protection in Mountain Warfare operations and the interoperability when implementing protection measures throughout all stages of an operation.
Objective: Increase the survivability of forces when conducting Mountain Warfare operations by teaching planners and decision-makers, at battalion level units or higher, the measures and means to predict threats and hazards in all situations, to minimize the vulnerability to this threats and to preserve freedom of action and the operational effectiveness of the force, in accordance with the specifics of the mountainous environment and modern warfare.
